What luck to find a place like Woofers! We like to try to take Kobe everywhere we go, but that is not always possible. When we do have to leave him behind, Kobe is always excited to go to Woofers - he has a great time there as if it were a "dog vacation" for him. It is comforting to know that the person taking care of your dog loves him as much as you do! Though we often think of him when we are away we never have any worry - we are confident that he is well cared for AND having a wonderful time.

"Dwaine and I had many reservations regarding leaving Duncan and Bertie with anyone because of Bertie’s old age and ill health and Duncan’s very ‘enthusiastic’ view of life. However having asked Bren to look after our ‘boys’ we no longer have any worries. They love going to visit her, rushing up the path to her front door to see her and we are able to get away without any doggy tears knowing that they think of Bren as a second mum."

"I just wanted to thank you again for looking after Athena while we were away. I'm really noticing the difference of her staying is someone's home rather than at the boarding kennel. I used to think she liked it at the kennel (after all, she would get excited when we pulled up to the building), but she was so much calmer coming back from your place.
We went to Thethis Lake this week - I just HAD to try out the return on clapping trick you taught her. Works like a charm! I made sure to give her treats when she came back too. This is so much easier than calling her back and interrupting our conversation all the time.
So thanks again. I can tell you have a genuine interest in the dogs you take in, and it makes me feel so much better to know that Athena has a home away from home to go to when we can't take her with us".

"Ziggy our Leonberger and Otis our Doodle spend a lot of time at Woofers because our jobs regularly take us away from home, sometimes for three weeks at a time. Because they stay at Woofers so often, Ziggy and Otis think it’s their home too! They and Max are great friends and they think of Bren as their “deputy Mom”. Neither dog is ever worried about being left at Woofers and we are never worried about leaving them there – we know they will get lots of love and hugs and plenty of doggy company too. When we collect our dogs, they are always happy and relaxed and we know they have been well cared for."

'I am so grateful that Kona our Labradoodle is able to stay in Bren's home when we go away. Kona's safety and happiness is really important to us and we are very pleased with the care Bren provides. Kona gets lots of attention, walks and playtime which is perfect"

" I cannot express what it has meant to my husband and myself to have a wonderful caregiver like Bren watching over our girls, Maggie and Molly when we leave on vacation. Molly and Maggie love going to Bren. We can completely relax knowing our dogs will receive the kind of excellent care that only truly knowledgeable and well trained dog lovers are able to give. Bren allows the dogs in her care the freedom to be dogs while maintaining boundaries in a gentle and consistent manner. The dogs are not kennelled - they are exercised and they receive lots of love. Bren keeps the number of dogs that she cares for at one time to a minimum and makes sure that the dogs she cares for are well socialised and friendly.
In addition to this, when we are away Bren stays in touch with emails and videos of our dogs.
A great experience for all of us!"

"Take plenty of love and care, mixed with a wee pinch of authoritative British nanny, and you have the perfect recipe for worry-free time away! I wouldn't hestitate to recommend Bren, to ensure exceptional care for your furry friend. Truly one of the next best things to being there yourself."

" We first used Woofers in the summer of 2009, when we needed to leave Kaya, our youngest and furriest family member, in a "home away from home" as we headed East for three weeks. We decided to choose Woofers. Not long after we left, we got an email from Kaya, detailing all the romps she was having, so with our minds completely at ease as to her welfare (not that we expected otherwise!) the only worry was that she wouldn't want to leave when we came to get her! And sure enough, though she looked in fine form when we picked her up, she was a little down in the dumps for a day or two after she got back to her real home--clearly, she missed the fun and frolics So be warned, one and all, if you happen to send your loved one to Woofers, the pressure may be on you to entertain a pet who has had Too Much Fun! (Next time when we come pick her up, we'll know to arrive already wearing the clown suits...)"

"Our dog Teddy, loves going to Woofers. In fact he doesn’t want to come home with me when I pick him up! Our dog is somewhat "enthusiastic" and large (between 120 and 130 lbs) and can be a bit of a handful but Bren manages him very well. We have found we get some side benefits as well, as when he comes home from Woofers, he is much better behaved, which of course we appreciate very much! We love the "Teddy's blog" that we receive, telling us about how his day was and pictures. Our dog is a precious member of our family and it's such a relief to have a place where we can take him to be looked after when we have to go out of town and we know he's happy and being well taken care of. We don’t' know what we would do without Woofers!"
